The Point has been owned by the Kummer family since 1958.  John and Kate Kummer have been serving up quality food and service to the Hastings area for over 50 years.

The Point is located at the southern tip of Washington County, where the Mississippi and St. Croix Rivers meet.  The two rivers form the boundaries of Minnesota and Wisconsin, and the three counties of Washington, Dakota, and Pierce.  That is why The Point is called “The Point.”
